Permission for development at St Paul's School, Beech Hill, Montenotte, Cork, T23P529. The development will consist of demolition of an existing single-storey prefabricated building at the western end of the school site and its replacement with a new two-storey special educational needs (SEN) building. This building will consist of eight SEN classrooms with associated toilet and storage areas, a multi-sensory room, occupational therapy space, nurse's room, meeting rooms, staff facilities, and ancillary accommodation. The development will also include alterations to the main entrance at the eastern end of the existing school with a new shelter canopy and a re-aligned vehicle/bus set-down area. Additionally, external soft and hard play areas are proposed, along with a south-facing landscaped pedestrian walkway, alterations to parking layouts, a new maintenance access roadway to the east of the school and associated services, retaining structures, landscaping. and site works
