What’s proposed

Parking for the proposed development will be provided by a lower ground floor car park and by an upgrade of the existing surface car park. Access to the existing surface car park will be via a proposed entrance at the south western end of the car park, the existing surface car park entrance on New Road is to be changed to exit only, access to the lower ground floor car park will be via a proposed entrance at the existing site access at The Glen, Kinsale, Co. Cork, it is also proposed to construct a new ESB substation adjacent to this entrance. Stores for the proposed licensed supermarket will be provided at the lower ground floor and upper ground floor levels with staff facilities on the first floor and ancillary plant on the roof. The proposed development will include all ancillary building signage and siteworks and the erection of a feature sign on the northern side of the existing surface car park entrance at New Road. The proposed development will also include upgrade works to the existing roadways in the vicinity of the existing New Road/Barrack Hill junction
