The demolition encompasses all existing buildings on the site including the following 1) Single storey Centra Shop, farm shop and store 2) One number two-storey & one number three/four storey disused mill building and one storey silo building 3) Ancillary single and two storey office buildings, single storey grain drier/grain store/grain tipping buildings, dust collector, warehouse, compressor, bagging plant, blending bin and grinder buildings, two storey transformer house and switch room, and open-sided loading dock building, chilled store and existing garage. Planning Permission is also sought for a Mixed-Use Development consisting of: 1) 22 no. two-storey dwelling houses consisting of 12no. 4 bed detached houses of which there are two house types and 10 no. 3 bed semi-detached houses 2) “Country Life” store consisting of Farm Shop & Store with canopies to secure outdoor garden centre area 3) 4 no. single storey Business Units 4) 2 Storey building with 4 no. shop units on ground floor and 4 no. offices on 1st floor 5) Centra Shop to include off-license and service station with forecourt 6) Bulk Grain Store Building and external service yard with weighbridge and open storage area to include concrete products, gates and cattle products, timber products, pipes, pallet storage, coal and fertilizer pad. 7) Sub-station and switch room building together with all associated site development works to include boundary treatments, security fencing, signage and commemorative statue, the provision of a new vehicular entrance to the Western Boundary in addition to improvements to the existing vehicular entrance on the Western boundary, the decommissioning of the existing Glanbia wastewater treatment plant, together with the upgrade of the existing Cork Co.
