What’s proposed

for development on a site, located to the north-west of Baile Eamon Road, in the townland of An Spidéal Thiar (Spiddal West), Co. Galway. The development will consist of amendments to the approved Primary Care Centre previously permitted under application Pl Ref 21/2211 (as part of a wider site development proposal previously permitted under Pl Ref 17/1618; ABP-301454-18.) The proposed changes will provide enhanced capacity for the Primary Care Centre to meet the needs of the HSE and local community. The subject site area extends to 10,452.69 sq. m. The proposed development includes: Amendments to the Primary Care Centre to provide an additional floor, a total of 29 no. consultation rooms, amending the facility previously permitted under reference Pl Ref 21/2211. Amendments to the previously approved Primary Care Centre to increase the floorspace of the building (from 750.88 sqm to 843.54 sqm). Amendments to the internal road layout to provide 64 no. total parking spaces. Amendments to 1 no. previously approved pedestrian and vehicular accessways onto the Spiddal Link Road permitted under reference Pl Ref 21/2211. Amendments to 1 no. previously approved pedestrian and vehicular accessways onto the Baile Eamoinn permitted under reference Pl Ref Pl Ref 17/1618; ABP-301454-18. Provision of an ESB substation. Amendments to car and bicycle parking, site services, site landscaping and all associated site works. Gross floor space of proposed works: 2,437.77 sqm
