What’s proposed
the development will consist of the reinstatement of the existing quarry at Ballynamona, Summerhill, Co Meath by importing 223,000 tonnes per annum of soil and stone over a 14-year period, with the final profiling and landscaping completed in the following year. The proposed development also allows for the provision of an additional wheel-wash, two weighbridges, site/weighbridge office and welfare facilities (c. 52sq. m), a waste acceptance quarantine area and a proprietary sanitary wastewater treatment system, and all associated works within an overall application area of 23.8 ha.
