The works formed part of a co-mapped, co-designed community amenity enhancement project led by Ballyboden Tidy Towns and SDCC's Public Realm section a letter of permission/support was requested by SDCC of the local residents association as there was a historical agreement that no development works would take place on the subject site. The planning status of their original installation is the subject of a section 5 which is not yet determined. This application concerns solely the removal of the amenities and whether such action constitutes development requiring planning permission
