(The proposed extension will operate using the existing permitted access to the R756, together with the existing internal haul road and all previously permitted processing and ancillary facilities, including: sand storage and testing lab shed, wash plant, water recycling system, sludge storage bay, water storage tank, wheelwash, well, pumphouse, temporary portacabin office, canteen, portaloo, berms, and mobile screening plant). The proposed extension of the existing quarry will operate for a period of 10 years from commencement of extraction within the extension area, after which an approved restoration and remediation plan will be implemented. An Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) has been prepared in respect of the proposed development will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the application.
