B) General Site Improvements: i) Upgrades to walkways, stairs, footpaths, and general safe access areas; ii) Improved chemical storage facilities (additional tank) with enhanced ventilation and heating; iii) Refurbishment of the backwash/blower room and relocation of electrical panels; iv) Installation of ground mounted and rooftop solar PV panels to reduce energy consumption and enhance sustainability; and v) Demolition of existing flocculation tank

These access points are proposed where the pipeline corridor intersects the public road along the routing of the Staleen Water Treatment Plant to the townland of Deenes trunk water main and the Staleen Water Treatment Plant to the Donore Reservoir trunk water main. Upon completion of construction, testing and commissioning of the proposed trunk mains, all temporary access locations will be reinstated to their original condition using native Irish hedgerow species. The planning application may be inspected or purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, at the offices of the Planning Authority during the hours of 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 4.00p.m. Monday to Friday (Bank Holidays and Public Holidays excepted). A submission or observation in relation to the application may be made in writing to the planning authority on payment of the prescribed fee, €20, within the period of 5 weeks beginning on the date of receipt by the authority of the application, and such submissions or observations will be considered by the Planning Authority in making a decision on the application. The Planning Authority may grant permission subject to or without conditions or may refuse to grant permission
